Drainage Rock

• Creates volume and pockets of air in soil allowing for any water to flow through the surface layer.
• Use other erosion materials in combination to effectively create french drains, dry stream beds, and other erosion prevention features.
• Gabion Rock, 2”-4” Limestone, and 6”-8” Gray Trap are all great options that MYP carries for drainage rock.

Catch Basin

• Provides a capture point for water to be routed to a lower elevation exit point.
• Used in combination with other erosion control materials.

Pop-Up Emitter

• Provide the exit point needed for water after flowing through drain tile.
• The top will pop up when water builds pressure upon it allowing the water to release.

Wall Grate

• Provides an exit point for various connections of subsurface drain tile.
• Specifically used to prevent water from collecting behind a manufactured or natural stone wall. Wall drainage is vital to maintain the structural integrity of your walls.

Perforated Drain Tile

• Used within a trench or behind a retaining wall
• Hydraulic pressure pushes water up and into the small perforations.
• Water is redirected, reducing or altogether preventing erosion.

Non-perforated Drain Tile

• Transports water without allowing water, sand or other debris to enter from the exterior along its subsurface pathway.
• Often used around trees to prevent roots from creating a blockage or to transport water a long distance.

Drain Tile Connectors

• 4” Drain Tile Couplers
• 4” Y-Connectors
• 4” T-Connectors
• 4” 90 Degree Elbow Connectors
• 4” Drain Tile Downspout Connectors.
• All connectors are used in combination with other drain tile materials to expand the subsurface pathways desired.

Erosion Control Blankets

• A straw blanket is a uniform, biodegradable option that protects soil from the impacts of precipitation and water flow.
• Retains moisture and can last up to 12 months to allow for vegetation to grow.
• Best in low flow channels with a 3:1 slope or less.

Sod/Fabric Staples

• Used with fabrics, plastic poly and erosion control blankets to help the materials stay in place.
• Also used to stake sod in place, especially on hilly terrain.
• Staples are sold in 4” and 6” lengths.
